Harry Estes Kelsey
Harry Estes Kelsey (1873 - March 1st, 1946) was an American Orthodontist who graduated from Angle School of Orthodontia in 1908. He was first Orthodontist in the State of Maryland. 〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=https://www.dental.umaryland.edu/orthodontics/departmental-awards/ )〕
==Life==
He received his dental degree from University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He then taught at University of Maryland School of Dentistry from 1906 to 1910, amongst graduating from Angle School of Orthodontia in 1908. In 1910 he became the Professor of Orthodontics at the school and Chairman subsequently in 1913. He stayed as chairman until his retirement in 1940. Dr. Kelsey has written 57 articles that have been published in various orthodontic journals. He was an active member of American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Eastern Society of Orthodontia, Eastern Association of Angle Alumni.
He died at the age of 73 in 1946. University of Maryland School of Dentistry has established a Harry E. Kelsey award in his memory.
